Since 2017,Paul has regularly travelled to Nepal, providing free ultra sound guided pain interventions in remote villages, free Sports Medicine & eduction programs, workshops. Constultations & treatments to Circus Kathmandu performers & National Sports Players.
He provides invaluable education to local Anaesthetists. who specialise in pain management. His knowledge & skills have been instrumental in seeing 'pain management' grow exponentially since 2017. He continues to be a resource while he is in Australia, communicating regularly with Nepali Anaesthetists regarding treatment options for patients.

Phil Walshe - Physiotherapist
Graduated from Sydney University in 1990, completed his Master of sports Physiotherapy in 1998 and taught in this program until 2007. He held the position of Assistant Professor at Bond University for 9 years and currently is involved in collaborations with Melbourne and Cornell University. Phil has worked with several sports teams including Gold Coast Titans, Australian Disabled Skiing, US Skiing and Snowboarding, Red Bull International and Surfing Australia.
He has written and overseen rehabilitation and high performance programmes for individual athletes from many sports including Wallabies, WCT surfers, World cup skiers and NRL players. This involvement with high level athletes means that he has worked with top sports and orthopaedic specialists developing a strong network for referrals. He also has had the privilege of working with some of the world’s best coaching staff and as such has a great understanding of sports technique.
Phil’s continued affiliation with Universities means he has also been able to work with and learn from experts in a variety of fields including neuroscientists and biomechanists. As such Continues to innovate neuroplasticity. He has been the owner of Byron Bay Physiotherapy since 1996
