​Dr Paul Ohmsen Gold Coast Sports Physician. Ausnep Australia Board Director 
Paul has 30 years experience in Sports Medicine, the  musculoskeletal system , along with ultrasound diagnostic and interventional pain management  
Gold Coast Titans Medical Director 2006 -2017 .  Sports Physician Gold Coast Suns 2010 -2015. Surgical Assist to Dr Price Gallie & Dr Steve Rackemann. Continues to teach at Australian Institute of  Ultrasound 

Paul continues to travel regularly to Nepal since Sept 2017 providing free pain interventions in remote villages, and free Sports Medicine  & eduction programs  to   Circus Kathmandu performers & National Sports Players. 

​He has treated over 535  patients & provided invaluable education to local anaesthetists, doctors & physiotherapists.


Paul's passion & commitment to help Ausnep & the people of Nepal continues whilst he is back home. Together with his PA, Cheri Jacobs & the donation of his rooms at Pindara Physiotherapy, they work one morning a month for free.  ALL  monies earned  are donated to Ausnep Australia ​

Paul is a wealth of knowledge & experience,  he is a perpetual advocate for Ausnep & Nepal.  Paul is & continues to be a 'life changer' -  not only to those people in pain, but further to Anaesthetists &  Physiotherapsists bringing musculoskeletal experience & guided Ultrasound interventions to the forefront.

Phil Walshe - Physiotherapist
Graduated from Sydney University in 1990, completed his Master of sports Physiotherapy in 1998 and taught in this program until 2007. He held the position of Assistant Professor at Bond University for 9 years and currently is involved in collaborations with Melbourne and Cornell University. Phil has worked with several sports teams including Gold Coast Titans, Australian Disabled Skiing, US Skiing and Snowboarding, Red Bull International and Surfing Australia.
He has written and overseen rehabilitation and high performance programmes for individual athletes from many sports including Wallabies, WCT surfers, World cup skiers and NRL players. This involvement with high level athletes means that he has worked with top sports and orthopaedic specialists developing a strong network for referrals. He also has had the privilege of working with some of the world’s best coaching staff and as such has a great understanding of sports technique.
Phil’s continued affiliation with Universities means he has also been able to work with and learn from experts in a variety of fields including neuroscientists and biomechanists. As such Continues to innovate neuroplasticity. He has been the owner of Byron Bay Physiotherapy since 1996
