HAND SURGERY & HAND THERAPY PROGRAM NATIONAL TRAUMA CENTRE, KATHMANDU
An incredible week - the 4th Hand Surgery and Hand Therapy Symposium & the 2nd collaboration at National Trauma Centre, Kathmandu. Drs David Graham, Brahman Sivakumar & Trevor Gervais lead the program, with Dr Shilu Shrestha, the only female Orthopaedic surgeon in Nepal, & the Head of the Orthopaedic Department
(the first women in 137 years, to hold this position)
Together with the team at National Trauma Centre, 14 complex hand surgeries were performed & a medical eduction Program. Hand therapists, Sanju Tandulkar, Kath Dalton & Sarah Godbolt spent an incredible week, making splints, post op planning & holding a Hand Therapy Workshop
